Calendar of Events

The Poway-Midland Railroad’s 1907 Baldwin Steam Locomotive operates the first and third weekends of each month except during a Summer, and also Winter Holidays Layups.

On the second Saturday and any month with a fifth weekend, our Cable Car operates. On the fourth weekend, our Speeder with Ore Cars train operates.

While our Baldwin #3 Steam Locomotive undergoes its annual Service and recertification layup, we will run the Cable Car for 3rd Weekends July and August, 2023, along with 1st Weekend August, 2023 and 1st Weekend September, 2023.

Special – Cable Car – (Locomotive Layup Summer 2023)

Jul 16 @ 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

While our Baldwin #3 Steam Locomotive undergoes its annual Service and recertification layup, we will run the Cable Car for 3rd Weekends July and August, 2023, along with 1st Weekend August, 2023 and September, 2023. On Sundays the train runs 11am to 2pm, with final ride at ~1:45pm
