Fourth of July Bring your family and friends and celebrate our country’s independence "turn-of-the-century style" at the 14th annual Old-fashioned Fourth of July event. It will be held at Old Poway Park, 14134 Midland Road, on Friday, July 4 from 10:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. Celebrate America's birthday with live musical entertainment, a picnic lunch in the park, patriotic quilt display, authentic crafters, face painting, delicious treats, an ice cream social, steam train rides, mock train robberies, free crafts and games for the kids, and much more! Don't miss the Independence Day Fireworks Show at Poway High School. Gates open at 7PM. Show begins at 9PM. Admission is $2. Additional viewing and parking available at Lake Poway.
