Our Mission

Poway-Midland Railroad Volunteers, Inc. was founded on February 13, 1991.

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the restoration, operation and
maintenance of antique railroad and trolley equipment in Old Poway Park.

Our current plans include restoration of a 1906 San Francisco cable car and
enhancing the Poway depot's store, ticket office and museum displays.

HOURS OF
OPERATION

Note: Until April, 2012, the
steam locomotive will be
out of service for its
annual maintenance and
re-certification program.
Saturdays:   10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sundays:     11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

No operations 2nd Sunday of each month:   'Quiet Sunday'.

No operations Easter Sunday.

Steam:   1st & 3rd weekends of each month (except Jan, Feb & Mar)

Trolley:   2nd Saturday of each month

Speeder:   4th weekend of each month

If not available, other equipment will be used.

Note: If the 1st day of the month falls on Saturday or Sunday, that weekend will be considered the 1st weekend of the month for scheduling purposes.





FARE
SCHEDULE		 Steam:   $2.50 for Adults, $.50 for Children

Trolley:   $2.00 for Adults, $.50 for Children

Speeder:   $1.50 for Adults, $.50 for Children
